Shop with us in December and help our donation to the Red Cross
At englishbooks.jp we never forget the world around us and the fact there are so many people who are not as lucky as us. In war-torn places people struggle to survive and in Japan itself deprivation seems to be growing. Therefore, as a company we try to play an active part.
From November to December, our company is making time to think about people who are in difficult situations. We are doing this in two ways.
Part 1: November The Giving Up Week 11/24-11/30
More than 40 of our staff have decided to give up something for a week as an individual and to donate the money saved by quitting something to the Red Cross.
Our company will then donate 2,000 yen for each staff member who achieves this goal.
Part 2: The Giving Month 12/1-12/31
December, for many around the world is a time of celebration and giving. As a company englishbooks.jp is doing its part.
We will donate a portion of our sales from our two web sites englishbooks.jp and chiikugangu.jp and from our Rakuten store to the Red Cross. For all direct sales, we will make a 1-10% donation (the rate varies by publisher, please see below).
